Caramel Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box chocolate cake mix (18.25 oz.)
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels (unwrapped, about 40 pieces)
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    You will need 1 greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
