Maple Walnut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) margarine
    1/3 c. pure maple syrup
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix liquid and dry ingredients thoroughly but separately, then combine and blend until smooth and well moistened.
    (Mixture will be thick and lumpy, but will smooth out during baking.)
    Bake at 450\u00b0 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 1 dozen.
