Oatmeal Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts or pkg. chocolate chips or both

Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Mix well and put in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
