Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
3 cans chicken broth
1/2 stick margarine
1 medium chopped onion
1/2 c. flour
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
dash of black pepper
Preparation

Simmer broccoli in chicken broth for 15 minutes.
Melt butter in pan and saute onion; add flour to onion.
Stir well.
Add milk gradually and stir until thick.
Stir mixture into broccoli and add grated Velveeta cheese.
Stir until melted.
Add pepper.
Do not let mixture boil.
