Green Beans Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 lb. process cheese spread
    18 oz. frozen whole green beans
    1/2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    1 c. onions, sliced into rings
    1/4 c. milk
    pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Fry bacon until crisp; remove from skillet.
    Drain fat, reserving 1 tablespoon.
    Cook and stir onions in reserved fat.
    Add cubed cheese and milk.
    Stir until cheese is melted.
    Crumble bacon.
    Add bacon, beans and pepper to skillet; mix lightly.
    Spoon into 1 1/2-quart casserole; top with cracker crumbs.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
