Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large eggs
    2 c. Colonial sugar
    9 oz. Crisco oil
    9 oz. buttermilk with 1/2 tsp. soda added
    2 c. Gold Medal flour with 3 heaping tsp. baking powder added
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix eggs, sugar and oil well at high speed.
    Add buttermilk and mix well.
    Add flour and keep mixing for about 3 minutes.
    Add vanilla and salt; stir in.
    Grease and flour three 8-inch cake pans.
    Pour into pans and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Cool in pans before frosting.
