Ingredients

1 c. pancake mix
1 egg
1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
1 bouillon cube or 1/2 tsp. chicken base seasoning
1/2 c. boiling water
1-inch oil (at 350~)
peeled and sliced onions
Preparation

Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water and cool.
Beat together pancake mix, egg and oil.
Add cooled water mixture.
Dip onion ring in the liquid mixture.
Drain a minute; fry them in the heated oil.
