Lemon Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 recipe Lemon Satin Icing or other
Preparation
    Grease and lightly flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside.
