Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 Milky Way candy bars
1 stick oleo
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Melt over low heat or in double boiler, candy bars and oleo; set aside.
Cream Crisco with sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time; beat well.
Sift flour, salt and soda.
Add alternately with buttermilk, vanilla and nuts.
Fold in candy mixture and bake in three 8-inch pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Pans are to be greased and floured.
