Streusel Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. cold margarine
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    24 caramels
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and egg.
    Cut in 1/2 cup margarine until crumbly.
    Stir in nuts.
    Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture.
    Press remainder firmly in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake 15 minutes.
