Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. scalded milk
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Combine eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Add milk; mix well.
Strain into pie shell.
Bake in hot oven (450\u00b0) for 15 minutes; reduce oven to 350\u00b0 until center of custard is firm and knife inserted comes out clean.
