Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs, added one at a time
    1 c. milk
    3 c. cake flour
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream
    the first 3 ingredients.
    Add eggs gradually and alternately with milk and flour.
    Mix well.
    Add flavoring and baking powder.
    Cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Don't open oven for an hour.
    Cook in tube pan.
