Never-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
cold water
Preparation

In large bowl mix together flour and shortening, using pastry cutter or two forks, until mixture is crumbly.
Break egg into measuring cup, beat, then add enough cold water to measure 3/4 cup liquid.
Add baking powder and vinegar, blending well.
Then add liquid mixture to flour mixture and blend well.
Dough will be quite moist.
For best results, cover and refrigerate for at least thirty minutes before rolling out.
