Cheese Straws - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. red pepper (cayenne)
Preparation

Blend cheese and butter together until smooth and light. Combine dry ingredients; add to cheese.
Blend until smooth. Force mixture through a cookie press, using star plate.
Make long ropes of dough on cookie sheets.
Cut into 2-inch long pieces. Bake at 350\u00b0 until just begin to brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
