Dilly Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. green beans
    2 heads fresh dill, trim off stems or 1/2 tsp. dry seeds (dill)
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper or dry red chilies
    4 cloves garlic (medium to large)
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. white distilled vinegar
    1/4 c. salt
Preparation
    Pack beans lengthwise into hot, sterile pint jars (wide-mouth), leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
    To each pint, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or dry red chilies, 1 clove garlic and head of fresh dill or 1/2 teaspoon dill seed.
    Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boiling.
    Pour over beans, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
    Adjust caps tight.
    Process pints for 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
    Yields about 4 pints.
