Molly E.'S Hot And Sour Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sliced mushrooms
    4 c. chicken broth
    1/2 cake tofu (1/4-inch strips)
    1/4 c. shredded bamboo shoots
    3/4 c. cooked, shredded chicken
    few dashes Tabasco
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Bring broth to boil.
    Add mushrooms, tofu, shoots and chicken. Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar.
    Combine cornstarch with water; add gradually to thicken. Remove from heat.
    Drizzle beaten egg slowly into soup.
