Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 to 12 potatoes
12 slices bacon
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 medium onion
1 c. vinegar
2 c. water
Preparation

Boil potatoes until tender.
Cool slightly.
Peel and cube. Cut bacon in small pieces and fry until crisp.
Remove with slotted spoon and set aside.
Add diced onion to bacon grease until tender, but not brown.
Stir flour and seasonings into mixture.
Add water and vinegar, stirring until thickened.
Add potatoes and bacon and toss lightly.
