Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    8 egg yolks
    1 c. light syrup
    8 tsp. vanilla
    8 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
    In a big pan, scald milk.
    Mix yolks and sugar.
    Add some scalded milk in sugar and egg mixture.
    Then put in big pan and add light syrup.
    Cook until mixture coats spoon.
    When mixture cools, add vanilla and egg whites.
    Put mixture in ice cream can and add milk to fill can.
    Chill and freeze.
