Crusty Breadsticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. warm water (about 110~)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 to 2 1/2 c. unsifted bread flour
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. water
    garlic salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast and sugar in water in
    medium bowl.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Add oil and salt.
    Stir in enough flour to make smooth dough.
    Place on lightly floured surface.
    Knead 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    Let rest 5 minutes.
    Roll into 14 x 9-inch rectangle.
    Cut into 24 strips.
    Twist each strip into an 8-inch rope.
    Place 1-inch apart on greased baking sheets.
    Cover and let rise until doubled, about 20 minutes.
