Ingredients

4 large onions, finely chopped
4 heaping Tbsp. butter
7 1/2 c. water
6 beef bouillon cubes
salt and pepper
2 1/2 tsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
grated cheese
Preparation
-
Fry onions slowly in butter until dark brown.
Add water and bouillon.
Salt and pepper to taste and add sugar.
Thicken with flour.
Serve with grated cheese.
