Country-Style Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. oil or melted shortening
1 3/4 c. milk/buttermilk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease 9 inch ovenproof skillet or 9 inch square pan.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
Mix well.
Pour batter into greased pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes approximately 6-8 servings.
