5 lb. fresh kielbasi (buy from a good Polish butcher, Rapacki in Mineola on Jericho Tpke.)
3 lb. fresh sauerkraut
1 onion, minced
garlic powder (a shake or 2)
paprika (a dash)
poppy seed
