Sopapilla - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mealy.
    Add water to form dough.
    Put on floured board. Knead until smooth.
    Rest dough 20 minutes.
    Roll thin as possible; cut into 2 1/2 to 3-inch squares.
    Should puff as browning in oil.
    After frying, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar or honey.
