Overnight Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, cut in bite-sized pieces
1/2 c. diced celery
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium green pepper, diced
1 pkg. frozen green peas
2 c. mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
2 Tbsp. sugar, sprinkled over mayonnaise
1 pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
13 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
Preparation

Place in 9 x 13-inch dish or salad bowl in order given.
Do not toss or stir until serving time.
Do not cook the peas.
Cover with Saran Wrap or foil and leave in refrigerator overnight.
