Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. orange juice
6 or 7 apples, peeled and sliced thin
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Beat the eggs and 2 cups sugar together.
Combine the flour and baking powder and add alternately to the sugar mixture with the oil, orange juice and vanilla.
Beat the batter well; pour into a greased tube pan.
Spread half the apple slices on the batter.
Mix together the 5 tablespoons of sugar and the cinnamon.
Sprinkle half this mixture over the apples.
Repeat these 3 layers:
batter, apple, cinnamon/sugar.
Bake the cake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Cool.
