Butterhorns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. scalded milk, cooled
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten
    5 c. bread flour (more or less)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs and salt.
    Mix again.
    Add dissolved yeast and cooled milk; blend well.
    Add flour, one cup at a time, mixing well after each cup.
    Put on floured board and knead until smooth.
    Put in greased bowl and turn dough on each side until greased.
    Let rise, covered, in refrigerator overnight.
