Cream Can Dinner(Simmering Supper) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 ears sweet corn with husks
    5 lb. medium red and white potatoes
    1 1/2 lb. carrots, peeled and halved
    2 large onions, quartered
    16 Polish sausage, hot and mild
    2 qt. water
    salt and pepper
    2 medium heads cabbage
Preparation
    (If you don't have cream can, you can use a Dutch oven or large covered pot or kettle on fire pit, outside with grill or indoors on stove.)
