Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening or butter
    8 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix sugar and eggs in a large bowl.
    Melt shortening or butter on low heat, add cocoa and blend well.
    Pour chocolate and vanilla mixture into a bowl with sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Gradually add flour until well blended.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
