Golden Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. melted shortening or cooking oil
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease an 8-inch square pan or 10-inch skillet.
    Stir together dry ingredients.
    Combine beaten eggs, milk and shortening.
    Add dry ingredients; stir well until thoroughly blended.
    Pour into greased pan and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
