Rum Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. rum extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and Crisco. Add eggs. Beat 2 minutes after each egg is added. Add rum and vanilla with last egg. Combine baking powder, baking soda and buttermilk. Add flour alternately with milk to sugar, shortening and egg mixture. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in angel pan, greased and floured.
