Plum Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 doz. small Italian blue plums, cut in half and pitted
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream 1/4 cup
    butter
    or
    margarine and 1/2 cup sugar. Add 1 egg white
    and
    beat
    well.
    Sift together 2 cups flour, baking powder and\tsalt.
    Add
    to\tcreamed mixture alternately with milk until
    blended.
    Put
    into\tgreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Put cut plums on\ttop
    of
    mixture,
    cut side up.
    Cut 1/4 cup butter or margarine
    into
    2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon and 1 cup sugar. Add
    egg
    yolk
    and
    stir.\tSprinkle over fruit in pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
