Apple Marmalade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. thinly sliced apples (3 lb.), tart apple like Granny Smith, etc.
    1 orange
    1 1/2 c. water
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Wash, pare, core and slice thin the apples.
    Quarter the orange and remove seeds (slice thin).
    Add water and sugar; boil.
    Add lemon and fruit.
    Boil and stir until it thickens.
    Yield:
    6 or 7 (1/2 pint) jars.
