Texas White Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 cans Northern white beans
    3 qt. chicken broth
    2 tbsp. canola oil
    2 onions, chopped
    2 cloves minced garlic
    8 oz. chopped green chilies
    4-6 chicken breast cooked and shredded
    3-4 tsp. each cumin, oregano, coriander
    pinch of cloves and cayenne
    1/2 tsp. creole seasoning
    grated cheese
    chopped green onions
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in oil and add cumin, oregano, coriander, cloves, and cayenne.
    Let cook together until onions are clear.
    Cook over medium heat so your garlic doesn't burn. Add beans, broth and salt.
    Let come to a simmer.
    Smash half beans.
    Add cooked shredded chicken and green chilies.
    Stir together and let simmer 20 minutes.
    Spoon into bowls and top with shredded cheese and sliced green onions.
    Serve with jalapeno or cheese corn bread.
