Potato Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 Tbsp. butter
    6 eggs
    1 c. cream
Preparation
    Boil sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard and butter.
    Beat eggs and cream.
    Add slowly, beating constantly, bringing all back to boil, then remove from heat and cool.
    Keep in jar in refrigerator.
    Add mayonnaise as needed when used.
