Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    2 c. powdered sugar
    3 sticks butter
    1 large can pineapple
    5 bananas
    2 eggs
    1 large container Cool Whip
    nuts (as desired)
    cherries (as desired)
Preparation
    Mix wafer crumbs with 1 stick melted butter; spread on bottom of long Pyrex dish.
    Mix powdered sugar, eggs and 2 sticks butter in mixer for 15 minutes.
    Then spread onto wafer crumbs; then chill.
    After it has been chilled, slice bananas on this.
    Then pour drained pineapple over this and spread Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
