Easy Strawberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pt. fresh strawberries
    1 box cake mix (white or yellow)
    1 large Cool Whip
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Cut up the strawberries in a large bowl. Put sugar on strawberries and place in icebox overnight to allow juice to form. When strawberries are ready, bake cake and allow to cool. Place 1 layer of cake in bottom of large bowl. Poke holes in top of cake and put some juice on top of cake. Place Cool Whip on top of cake. Put second layer on top of first layer. Repeat same step. Pour strawberries and juice around cake. Cover and place in icebox until ready to eat. Lasts about 3 days.
