Freezer Potato Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium potato, peeled and quartered
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, divided
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1/4 c. honey
    1 large egg, lightly beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook potato in boiling water to cover for 15 minutes or until tender.
    Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid; set potato aside.
    Cool reserved liquid before adding yeast and sugar.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
