Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium potatoes
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/2 to 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. chopped chives
    dash of garlic salt
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel, slice and boil potatoes. Beat sour cream and cream cheese together. Add hot potatoes and beat until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole. Dot with butter and sprinkle additional grated Cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
