Crown Jewel Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. mashed cooked carrots
3 c. soft bread crumbs
2 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation

Beat egg.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
(If mix is too wet, add more bread crumbs.)
Shape into patties.
Coat with cornflakes.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Yields 5 to 6 servings.
