Saturday'S Breakfast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. frozen hash brown potatoes
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. regular or hot sausage, cooked and drained
    4 oz. sliced fresh or canned mushrooms (optional)
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cracked pepper
Preparation
    Fry potatoes and onions in margarine until golden brown. Place in greased 8 or 9-inch glass baking dish.
    Top with cheese. Crumble sausage and spread over cheese; top with mushrooms. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over sausage.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serves 6.
