Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
1/2 tsp. vanilla
cake coloring
Preparation

Mix the sugar, water and cornstarch. Cook until thick and clear. Add the Jell-O and vanilla. Add cake coloring, if needed. Cook until thickness desired. Cool.
Pour strawberries in your favorite pastry shell.
Pour filling over berries.
Add more berries and then more filling until all is used.
Use about 1 quart berries. Chill.
