Velveeta Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    8 oz. Velveeta cheese
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 lb. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter and cheese in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Pour over mixture of confectioners sugar and cocoa in bowl; mix quickly until well blended.
    Spread in buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Pat pecans over top.
    Let stand until set.
    Cut into squares.
    Yields 3 pounds.
