Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small cans black walnuts or the equivalent thereof
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. margarine
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 unbeaten eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter with sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and floured walnuts.
    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until toothpick tests done.
    Cool on a rack for 20 minutes before removing from pan to cool.
