Spicy Meat Loaf Americana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 large onion, diced
    1 large green pepper, diced
    1 large celery stalk, diced
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    salt
    2 slices white bread
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    Worcestershire
    hot pepper sauce (optional)
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    celery leaves (for garnish)
Preparation
    About 2 hours before serving, in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot salad oil, cook onion, pepper, celery and garlic until vegetables are tender and lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
    Remove 2 tablespoons vegetable mixture; reserve for garnish.
    Into vegetables remaining in skillet, stir nutmeg and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Remove skillet from heat.
