Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 c. raw rice
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Combine beef with crumbs, egg and seasonings.
    Shape into small cakes and roll in rice.
    Add water to soup.
    Pour over meat cakes.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
    Several slices of onion, a rib of celery and 1 teaspoon chili powder may be added.
    Thicken sauce with flour and season to taste.
