Light Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 5/8 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Blend in egg.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir into creamed mixture along with milk.
    Pour into muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake 18 to 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
