Superb Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 shredded carrot
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and store in refrigerator overnight. Serve cold.
    May be kept in the refrigerator 2 to 3 weeks.
