Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can asparagus, cut into pieces
    2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 lb. grated American cheese
    3 hard-cooked eggs, diced
    1 stick margarine
    1 can mushroom soup, diluted with juice from asparagus
Preparation
    Combine cracker crumbs, 1/2 stick margarine (melted), cheese and diced eggs.
    Other 1/2 stick of margarine in bottom of casserole, layer of crumbs, then asparagus.
    Alternate having crumbs on top.
    Cover with diluted soup.
    Bake 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0. Serves 6 to 8.
    Green beans can be used in lieu of asparagus.
