Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 Spanish onion, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 can chipotle chili packed in adobo sauce, minced
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. molasses (unsulfured)
    1/2 lemon juice
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Simmer 5 minutes over medium heat the olive oil, onion and garlic. Stir in tomatoes, chili pepper, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, molasses and lemon juice. Simmer over medium/low heat until reduced by 1/4 volume, about 45 minutes. Stir often. Puree in blender; add salt and pepper to taste. Will keep in refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
