Seven-Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1 (7 oz.) bottle 7-Up
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating very well.
    Stir in flour, then flavorings; add 7-Up.
    Pour into greased tube pan and bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
